Harvest has some of the best craft cocktail programs in Orange County. My favorite one has to be the blood orange martini, but the bar has everything from Ketel One vodka to Templeton Rye. Local craft brews run the gamut from pale ales and lagers to hefty stouts.
Even though there are so many delicious items to choose from the menu, my all time favorite starter here is the warm rosemary bread rolls served with caviar butter. It is seriously amazing!
The selva shrimp cocktail appetizer is another favorite that comes served with sun-dried tomato & horseradish, avocado mousse, curried almonds, and hearts on fire. the presentation is really nice.
if you want something a little heartier try the charcuterie and pickles. They use a rotating selection of pickles and charcuterie so everything is always fresh.
Harvest has something for everyone. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or a full-blown meat-eater Harvest will accommodate even the pickiest palettes.
Carnivores will love the grilled hangar steak. It’s cooked perfectly pink with sweet onion soubise, baby bok choy, wild mushrooms, garlic chips, and saba.
The center cut N.Y. Steak is another great choice. Seared and served with red bliss mashed potatoes, heirloom roasted carrots, and red wine jus.
Craving something from the sea? Try The the sea bass served with crispy snap peas, micro-greens and radishes.
My son who is a more simplified eater chose the Harvest burger – Dry aged beef served with tomato jam, fried onions, horseradish-beet sauce, swiss cheese, fries. You can omit whatever you don’t want.
This was my absolute favorite part of our meal. As a matter of fact, the apple fritters were probably the best dessert I have had in years. Think of a bear claw and then dust it with cinnamon sugar, orange whipped cream and apple cider reduction. I guarantee you will have a hard time sharing.
So you should also order the Chocolate Pot De Creme. Espresso, whipped cream, chocolate nibs, a little sea salt and chocolate mint will make everyone happy.
