Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern Lands New Executive Chef
Being an executive chef can be a demanding job. One that combines the pressure of living up to high standards and a dizzying array of daily responsibilities.
Fortunately for Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern they just landed an awesome chef named Mitch Gillan. Mitch is a veteran to the Orange County dining scene and takes the reigns at the Dana Point Location
Previously Gillan held the position of Chef de Cuisine at 370 Common Kitchen + Drink in Laguna Beach from its inception and the Executive Chef position at The Ramos House Cafe in San Juan Capistrano for more than three years. Additionally, he and proprietor David Wilhelm worked closely together for more than five years at Culinary Adventures where Gillan held the position of Executive Chef at French 75.
In his newest role as Executive Chef at JFAT, Gillan will work with Wilhelm to ensure that this restaurant will remain a favorite dining destination for years to come. His passion for food and his skill set will ensure a seamless transition for guests who have come to love the American comfort food menu with an artisan twist.
