Eating healthy is a common way of life for most people in Orange County. Everyone seems to be fasting or on a keto diet and when you are dining out it can be hard to stick to that lifestyle. Fortunately Panini Kabob Grill can help. They serve fresh healthy mediterranean food with so much flavor you will return again and again. HI will tell you that it is one of my all time favorite restaurant in Orange County because the food is always consistent, always flavorful and the portion sizes are huge!

The chefs at Panini Kabob Grill choose only the finest quality ingredients, including organic eggs, the best imported olive oil and cheeses from Europe, grass-fed and hormone free meats, and all of their produce, as well as just-baked bread from La Brea Bakery bread, are delivered fresh daily. Recently we visited their newest location in Mission Viejo outside of the Kaleidescope center.

Panini Kabob Grill Appetizers

Appetizers are like a glimpse of whats to come. I recommend the Appetizer Combo Platter which is the perfect starter for party of four. It includes the Hummus trio (Combination of Garbanzo, Black Bean, and Edamame Hummus. Blended with Fresh Garlic, Oil and Fresh Lime Juice) falafel, Tzatziki and caprese! Not only is it pretty but it is delicious.

Panini Kabob Grill Entrees

I love a lot of protein in my meals and Panini Kabob Grill has the most amazing kabobs. They do not come on a skewer but the are cooked on one. My absolute favorite is the Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob served with Basmati Rice, Brown Rice or Bulgur Pilaf. They are served with Grilled Vegetables and Choice of Caesar, Mediterranean Greek or Romaine Avocado Salad.

Another one of my favorites is the koobideh skewer. You can get 1 or 2 and it’s this delicious Charbroiled Seasoned Ground Sirloin, with Skewer Grilled Vegetables, Basmati Rice, Brown Rice or Bulgur Pilaf with Choice of Caesar, Mediterranean Greek or Romaine Avocado Salad.

If you prefer to get your protein from fish, Panini Kabob grill has a Jumbo Shrimp Kabob that come with four huge and plump charbroiled Jumbo Shrimps, Grilled Vegetables, Basmati Rice, Brown Rice or Bulgur Wheat Pilaf and Choice of Caesar, Mediterranean Greek, and Avocado Romaine Salad.

Got a kid that won’t touch any of that? No worries. They have the following kids meals:

Panini Kabob Grill Dessert

Dessert in our house is a privilege. You don’t get it every day just because you ate dinner so when we do allow it, my family likes their dessert to be worthy. Enter Panini Kabob’s Baklava. The thickness of this dessert is incredible. It’s stuffed with walnuts, honey and spice then topped with pistachio.

Craving chocolate instead? Try the Tiramisu. Lady Fingers with Espresso are Topped with Sweetened Mascarpone Topping. two people could easily share this dessert. Your fork will slide right through it.

If you want t night cap with your dessert try one of their Lavazza espresso’s. It’s rich, frothy and pairs perfect with any dessert.

Reserved Parking at Panini Mission Viejo

Parking at the Kaleidoscope Center can be a little daunting sometimes because often times you have to take an escalator to your destination but the new Panini Kabob Grill in Mission Viejo is seamlessly easy to park at. this is because they have reserved parking JUST for Panini guests. I cannot tell you how invaluable this is! A total game changer.
