Farrell’s Blarney Burger and “Pot of Cold”
St. Patrick’s Day is a time of year when everyone gets to celebrate Irish heritage. We can eat all thing green including bagels and eggs and cookies and even green ice cream! This year Farrell’s is back with two new, limited time, Irish themed choices, the Farrell’s Blarney Burger and Pot O’ Cold Sundae.
The burger is nothing short of amazing. It has a 1/2 lb. all-beef burger topped with Farrell’s made-from-scratch Guinness cheese sauce, crispy Tater Tots, succulent corned beef, and a house-made horseradish mustard and cabbage slaw. Even better are the french fries covered in Farrell’s finger-licking Guinness cheese sauce, bacon and green onions.
My friend Erin, who joined me for lunch this particular day also enjoyed this burger. She doesn’t like it when her food touches and the thought of a beef patty and corned beef stacked on top of each other was a bit much. However, she gave it a shot and decided to try it exactly how it was served and she loved it!!!
Farrell’s is also serving their Pot O’ Cold sundae! This sundae HUGE and as you can tell My daughter was super excited about it! It has two-scoops of Mint Chip and one-scoop of Chocolate ice cream swirled with hot fudge, freshly made green whipped cream and topped with rainbow sprinkles, a mint cookie and a cherry! Even the whip cream was green!
