Lark Creek Newport Beach joins Forces With Make A Wish Foundation

Bring the kids for dinner and a fun cookie making experience at Lark Creek Newport Beach during their “Gingerbread Wishes” celebration.

Throughout November, guests can order star-shaped, fresh-baked gingerbread cookies off the dessert menu for only $10.00 each, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire. The cookies can be decorated with frosting, sprinkles, and candies, and enjoyed while dining, taken home in a decorative bag, or given as a festive holiday gift or party favor. This is the first year Lark Creek Newport Beach will participate in the annual promotion, which will also take place at Lark Creek Restaurant Group’s Bay Area restaurants.

Held at Lark Creek Restaurant Group restaurants in Northern California since 2007, the Group has now raised more than $120,000 through the annual Gingerbread Wishes campaign. Lark Creek Restaurant Group was inspired to work with the organization after an employee’s niece, suffering from leukemia, was granted a wish through Make-A-Wish for a garden in her backyard to look at through her bedroom window.

The award-winning Lark Creek Restaurant Group’s premiere Orange County restaurant, Lark Creek Newport Beach, opened at Fashion Island in Newport Beach in August 2013. Helmed by Partner/Chef John Ledbetter and General Manger Chad Sisco, the restaurant offers diners seasonal, sustainable, farm-fresh cuisine, perfect for the coastal lifestyle, and features a sophisticated bar program offering artisanal cocktails, craft beer, and exceptional wine list. Lark Creek Newport Beach is also the first restaurant on the West Coast to earn SPE certification, a unique program designed to enhance the nutritional quality of meals without sacrificing taste. Located at 957 Newport Center Drive at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, the restaurant is below Island Cinema and is open for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and weekend brunch. Reservations are available by calling 949.640.6700 or through the restaurant’s website. For more information, visit the restaurant at, on Facebook, and on Twitter.
