Recently, Morton’s renovated 2 of their OC restaurants in Anaheim and Costa Mesa. EatDrink OC had the opportunity to see the new renovations. Everything from the entry, the bar, seating area, private dining room, and wine room is all new!
When we arrived we were shown to a private banquet room that had been repainted, with new carpet and added windows. We had the chance to sample some new item menus as well.
We started with some Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella. The flavor was intense. I love charcutterie and this was very close to it.
Next we had wonton poke bites. These were by far our favorite item the entire night.. The poke was super fresh and the crispy won ton shell brought all of the flavors together.
They served Peach Belllini’s.
Tomato Bruschetta Crostini.
Prime Rib which was cooked to perfection.
Ginormous shrimp cocktail. These prawns were massive and the cocktail sauce was bold and tasty.
They used lobster heads to decorate the shrimp platter.
Filet Mignon Sliders
Mini Crab Cakes Served on Silver Dollar Rolls with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Mustard Mayonnaise
And for dessert they had lemon bars and new york style cheesecake.
This was some of the best cheesecake I have tasted in a long time.
Here is their impressive Wine Selection.
Erin and I really enjoyed the new look and feel of Morton’s and are looking forward to going back again for a special occasion.
