The best part for me about Sunday’s is waking up late and then eating a huge breakfast with the kids and my husband. We are always looking for new Sunday Brunch locations and I just found one more to add to my list. The Anaheim white house has just debuted a new Sunday Brunch Menu.

In conjunction with its recent change as an Italian steakhouse, the Anaheim White House has introduced a new 3-course Sunday brunch menu that adds some panache to OC’s ever-burgeoning dining landscape.  For $32.50 for adults (includes free-flowing Champagne) and $16.25 for children 12 and under, guests may choose from a broad array of items served from 11am until 3pm.

First course selections include “French Touch” Bourgogne escargot baked with garlic and herbs in a Pernod flambé; calamari cooked with shallots and grappa and served over a bed of pasta; and gnocchi Gorgonzola. Among the main courses are whitefish Florentine; chicken Parmigiano; prime rib; several omelets; and eggs served with a choice of pancakes, French toast or braised boneless beef rib.  Capping off the meal is one of two desserts: profiteroles (puff pastry stuffed with crème and topped with chocolate ganache) or dolce al Zabaglione (vanilla cake filled with Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries and topped with Zabaglione).

The White House’s owner, Bruno Serato, has earned an international reputation as a philanthropist.  In honor of his beloved mother, he founded the nonprofit Caterina’s Club to serve the region’s most vulnerable population – the “motel children,” so named because their families are relegated to living in squalid conditions in local motels.  In addition to feeding some 500 kids each night – more than 500,000 meals so far – he is now finding permanent homes for their families. Serato and Caterina’s Club have been featured worldwide on CNN, “CBS Evening News,” Huffington Post, and People magazine.  He has been knighted by the Italian government, recognized by Pope Francis and is a past CNN Hero.
