How To Throw A Fabulous Summer Soiree
Summertime is the best time to host gatherings and create memories with the ones I love most. SoCal offers idlllic weather for barbecues and pool parties. Now that summer is here, I am thrilled about planning my next soiree.
Last month, I attended a wonderful pool party hosted by Barefoot Wines. They recently launched their delicious Barefoot Refresh Spritzers that I now consider a MUST-HAVE at my next party. The decor was chic and inviting. No detail was left out. This fabulous launch party has inspired me to host a summer shindig of my own…
Thank you Barefoot Wine for inviting me to your summer pool party. All Opinions are my own.
Here are 5 tips when throwing a summer soiree:
- Set the mood
Decorate with fresh flowers, candles, and/or homemade center pieces. I have learned that you don’t need to spend a lot of money to create a special ambiance.
I love how they created little seating areas. The decor was eclectic and nothing matched, but it all worked beautifully.
- Serve small bites
Serve corn on the cob, small chicken or beef skewers, taco bar, and/or small desserts. Keep it simple and easy.
- Serve chilled Barefoot Refresh Spritzers (A MUST-HAVE)
Serve Barefoot Refresh Spritzers on ice. These little can beverages are tasty and refreshing.Your guests will be impressed and will love them!
Crisp White Spritzer
Featuring aromas of peach, lemon-lime, and crisp apple. Chenin Blanc and Riesling wine make a perfect pair in this standout canned sipper.
Summers Red Spritzer
Featuring aromas of raspberries, oranges and ripe berries right in the can. Moscato, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir join forces to make one deliciously fruity spritzer.
- Play games, set up art stations, and/or make your own photo back drop. (Use your imagination, and have fun with this).
I love my temporary tattoo. They also had a photo booth, hair style station, and ice cream station.
- Sit, relax, and enjoy the fun!
Try to decorate and set up a day before… Don’t leave anything to the last minute, that way you can enjoy your company.
Life is short and we must live our lives to the fullest… Wishing you all a spectacular summer!
