FIG & OLIVE Newport Beach Celebrates Father’s Day with Endless Riviera Brunch Buffet
On Sunday, June 21, 2015, Fashion Island’s French Riviera dining destination, FIG & OLIVE Newport Beach celebrates Father’s Day with a Riviera Brunch Buffet ($24*) in addition to a seasonally driven three-course prix-fixe dinner ($52*) with optional sommelier wine pairings (+$29*). The buffet-style brunch offered from 11:00am – 3:00pm features a sirloin carving station and an endless selection of FIG & OLIVE favorites including:
- Granola and fresh fruit
- Eggs (any style)
- Quiche
- Fig Tartlet
- Tomato Burrata Caprese and select salads
- Carpaccio, Charcuteries, and Cheeses
- Apple Tart
In the evening from 5:30pm – 10:00pm, FIG & OLIVE will wine and dine dads with a dinner menu highlighting farmer’s market ingredients such as heirloom tomatoes, figs, and asparagus in dishes such as:
- Burrata & Heirloom Tomato Caprese with fig, basil olive oil, and 18 year balsamic vinegar
- Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio with cilantro, Marcona almond, and toasted sesame oil
- Chicken Tajine with Moroccan spiced chicken served with fig, olive, apricot, carrot, zucchini, cipollini onion, tomato, toasted almond, couscous with cilantro and harissa, and Hojiblanca olive oil
- Chilean Sea Bass marinated with lemon, thyme, carrot, asparagus, celery root purée, roasted potato, charmoula, mascarpone, and harissa olive oil emulsion
- Creekstone Farm 12oz Sirloin with roasted potato, caramelized heirloom carrot, sautéed cremini mushroom, and Arbequina olive oil béarnaise
