Progressive Dinner – Anaheim Gardenwalk Part 2
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
After we finished at PF Changs it was time for our main entrees. We walked just a few steps across to Bubba Gump’s Shrimp Company. I have loved this restaurant for as long as I can remember because it has such a fun vibe and the servers are always so friendly and playful!
As soon as we walked in we were greeted with blood orange margaritas-made with Sauza Blue Tequila, DeKuyper Blood Orange Liqueur, Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice, and sweet & sour.
For my main entrée I had the shrimp scampi sautéed with Capers in Lemon-Garlic Butter, served over a bed of Linguine. Bring a breath mint for this dish!
Another entrée they were offering was the Jenny’s Catch with Lobster Butter Sauce. It is made from scratch with Pan seared Tilapia laid over Mashed Potatoes with sautéed Spinach and a creamy Lobster Butter Sauce. Although I didn’t taste it, it looked and smelled amazing!
The best dish of all that night was the Bacon Potato Cakes. They are not on the regular menu, but I believe if you ask for them they can whip up a batch for you.
Fire & Ice
Finally, it was time for dessert so we all headed upstairs to a new restaurant called Fire & Ice. FiRE + iCE Grill + Bar is a smokin´ hot restaurant showcasing an incredible variety of food, cooked fresh on an open grill. pro-grillers cook each veggie, pasta or meaty masterpiece exactly to your specifications. The Anaheim location also has an expansive outdoor patio — complete with a fire pit and music on weekends! It’s the perfect place for large group functions!
There were three main desserts and we all shared everything. First up was the Turtle Cheesecake. It’s a N.y. style cheesecake on a layer of fudge, caramel, chocolate sauces and chopped pecans.
Next up was the Chocolate Fondue. Apples, marshmallows, poundcake, kiwi and pineapple come served on a plate and they give you big skewers to dip in the chocolate. There are even large whip cream dollops to dip as well.
Lastly, there are sugar dusted Churros that you can dip in chocolate sauce. This portion is big enough to share and their churros are served nice and warm dusted with a bit of powdered sugar. Iy ‘s the perfect way to top off any meal.

What coming to GardenWalk in 2016?
House of Blues Anaheim has announced plans to move to a more expansive venue in Anaheim GardenWalk. Slated to open in 2016, the new location will be one of the House of Blues most spectacular additions representing a unique combination of an expanded main concert hall for music’s biggest acts, complimented by The Cambridge Room — a specially tailored performance theatre for more intimate performances for touring act showcases, singer-songwriters and local musicians.
