Thanksgiving at Lucca + Provenance


Last year I attempted to make a Thanksgiving Turkey. Let’s just say it didn’t go so well. The bird was dry and I was kicking myself for not pre-ordering a meal as the stress that goes along with  cooking Thanksgiving was enough to make me swear off ever wearing an apron ever again.

This year I am pre-planning and I wanted to share a take home Thanksgiving  menu that is perfect for sharing.  Lucca Cafe in Irvine has Thanksgiving 2 go. Lucca will roast while you host!

LUCCA’s Thanksgiving takeout dinner allows you to entertain 2 or 200 guests with ease and offers a special mouth-watering menu guaranteed to delight any budget and palate. Their traditional takeout dinners are capable of feeding up to 10 guests, and include a lavish spread featuring a Free-Range Turkey, stuffed and roasted to perfection, for $325 (add $32.50 per person for each additional guest). In addition, a complete meal for individual diners may be purchased for $32.50 each.

All meals must be ordered by Friday, November 21st for pick up on or before Thursday, November 27th at noon. Orders may be placed by calling (949) 725-1773.

*Apple-Pork Sausage, Fennel and Sage Stuffing

* Fire-in-the-Sky Yams with Candied Walnuts
* Farmer’s Market Green Beans with Hazelnuts and Fresh Oregano
* LUCCA Salad: Organic Mesclun Greens, Market Tomatoes, Roasted Peppers, Kalamata Olives and Balsamic Vinaigrette
* Assorted Silver-Dollar Dinner Rolls
* Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake

If you are interested in dining in, Provenance will host Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 27th from 4-8 PM. They will offer traditional Free-Range Turkey Breast — or their wonderful Certified Angus Beef Tri Tip or Loch Duart Scottish Salmon. All three entree options are guaranteed to please.
